Today I am excited to talk about all things Cinderella's Royal Table!! Anyone who is a fan of Disney has probably thought about what it would be like to eat in the Cinderella Castle once in their life. Dining at Cinderella's Royal Table is one of the most magical experiences any Disney lover can have! But most are afraid because of the quality of the food or the cost (Breakfast and Lunch $35-$59.99 per adult and Dinner is over $60 per adult. Dining plan and Deluxe Dining plan you must use two meal credits no matter the time of day. Quick-Service Dining Plan is not accepted.) I have been to Cinderella's Royal Table once before. It was for my eighth birthday, 14 years ago, and we ate there for breakfast. From what my parents have told me because I don't remember anything about the food all I remember is meeting the characters, thanks to pictures, and seeing Captain Hook and Peter Pan run around the outside of the castle, the food at breakfast is pretty standard with any Disney breakfast. Since then I have heard that the food for lunch and dinner is nothing to write home about. I have known some people personally who have eaten in the castle and weren't impressed. So going into this dinner, my expectations were kind of low. I knew we were going for my godchild to have a magical trip and meet all her favorite princesses and not for a wonderful meal. BUT I have to say I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with our meal!!!! The appetizers were just so-so. The grapes and cheese pictured above were one of the kids appetizers, and the castle salad to the right is what the three adults got for our appetizers. In my opinion, the salad was just alright. When I eat a salad, I like it plain with some ranch, so I wasn't the biggest fan, but the other two adults enjoyed theirs! OH MY GOSH BUT OUR ENTREES!!!!! The kid's meal is pictured top left, and she enjoyed it! To the right of that is the Pan-seared All-Natural Chicken. This was good as well but not the best of the three adult entrees we had. Just below the chicken, the bottom right, was what I had, the beef and shrimp. This too was good, I did enjoy it, but it wasn't the most fantastic steak and shrimp I have ever had. And last, but certainly not least, THE BRAISED PORK SHANK!!! I wish I would have known what pork shank was before we ordered because OH MY GOD THIS WAS SO GOOD!!! This is what my mom ordered, and I am so thankful she did! I don't know why but this was absolutely delicious!! If you are going to eat at Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner, I HIGHLY recommend the braised pork shank!!! And finally dessert! First to the left is the children's build-your-own cupcake! Nothing quite special here just an ordinary vanilla and chocolate cupcake that kids enjoy because they decorate it themselves! The middle is Lady Teralyn's Citrus Chiffon Cake. This was good, nothing on the dessert menu caught my eye, and this was the one that sounded the most appealing to me, but nothing to write home about. And last is the Jaq & Gus Amaretto Cheesecake with Almond Crust. I tasted my moms and honestly did not like it, but that is a personal thing because I do not like nuts and forgot that the crust was almond. So if you are not a fan of nuts stay away from this one! But my mom and cousin did enjoy this! Overall I did enjoy my meal and experience at Cinderella's Royal Table! I would recommend doing this if you have a child who loves to meet characters, obviously the princess most specifically because they are the ones that meet there, and if you are on the dining plan.
I don't think I would recommend this to someone who wants to eat here not on the dining plan. There are so many other delicious restaurants on Disney property to spend your money on if you're looking for a good meal!! Also, just an FYI or fun fact that we learned while dining there if anyone throws up at the table while eating in the Cinderella Castle, even if it was only on the floor, the cast members are instructed to throw away every single thing on the table. During our meal, we witnessed this, not the throwing up part thank goodness, and had to ask our waitress what was going on! We thought it was so ridiculous how they were throwing away all the plates and silverware and cups literally anything on the table was going straight into the trash!
