Hello folks and welcome! My name is Lauryn Madere and this is my tiny, safe slice of the World Wide Web (WWW)! This website originally started out as a completely Disney dedicated blog for a class at college. Since then, I have turned it into what I call my diary. I share my thoughts (which are still mostly about Disney!), opinions, reviews, and much more!
A little about myself:
My hobbies include reading, sleeping, theatre (off stage), traveling, old lady activities such as embroidering, video editing, and graphic design!
I am graduating college in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication with an emphasis in journalism from Nicholls State University.
I will be graduating with a journalism degree and do not plan to pursue a journalistic career. I plan to work my way up the Disney ladder in a graphic design type field!
In August 2020 I will begin working for the Disney company in WDW for the Disney College Program (DCP) as a merchandise cast member!
My main focus for this website is to share my thoughts on different events happening in our world. This will not be a weekly updated blog just when something happens that I feel I really want to talk about. I will also be keeping track of what I read, watch, and listened to in a year as I think it would be fun to look back on to see what I watched, read, and listened to and how I felt about each thing!
Edited February 5, 2020 Do you ever go somewhere and immediately feel at home? That is me every single time I walk into Walt Disney World (WDW). Jambo! My name is Lauryn Madere, and WDW is my second home! I have been to Walt Disney World over 20 times and counting! Because I go so frequently, I have learned quite a lot about the do's and don't's and tips and tricks of vacationing at WDW. My goal for this blog is to help someone who has never been to the parks before and wants to make the most out of their trip! One of my favorite things is going to the parks and seeing all the families who are there for the first time seeing Cinderella's Castle or experiencing certain rides for the first time! Nothing brings me more joy than seeing someone go to WDW and fall in love with the most magical place on earth like I did! If you are looking for packing advice, what should you bring to the parks, what to do and not do in the parks, and how to make the most out of your trip than my blog is for you! I look forward to putting all my knowledge of going to the parks out there to share with the world! “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” - Walt Disney
