Let's be honest, Florida is HOT, water is essential, and bottled water can be quite expensive! This past trip I took to WDW, the first week of August, was the hottest trip I have ever been on and I will never go back during August, June, or July ever again unless I'm working there! To say I was miserable but also delirious and dehydrated (my fault honestly) is an understatement! The number one thing I always make sure I have on me while in the parks (and honestly every day in life) is water. The past few trips, I have been bringing a reusable water bottle with me, so I don't have to pay for any drinks while at WDW. Over those trips I've noticed and learned a few things:
So over this last trip, I started to pay attention when my friend and I would get water and made a note of a few different things concerning water fountains in WDW! So here's the low down:
One tip I have is to definitely bring a water bottle, go fill up your ice bucket from your room with ice, fill your bottle full of ice, walk to your nearest quick service and drink refill location, fill bottle full of water, and put your bottle in the fridge in your room! The next morning when you wake up, if you bring an insulated water bottle, you will have a full bottle of water with ice ready for your crazy and probably hot day in the park! This simple little trick has saved me so many times during my busy park day! It is so often that I forget to drink anything while I'm in the park unless I'm having a meal! It is crucial for me to always keep a full bottle of water with me at all costs!
